Unfortunately, this kind of "transaction" is very common and I applaud you for writing about your own experience and warning others. It is VERY important to ask questions and read the fine print. Don't let anyone rush you through it.

Update - So, yeah... the sales girl DID submit my information and credit to InStyle! That is just crazy and so, so wrong!
